About Us
Our Story
At Your Girl for Good, we believe that every girl has the potential to succeed and make a positive impact in the world. Since our founding in 2017, we have made it our mission to provide young girls of color with the resources, mentorship, and encouragement they need to thrive.
We know that access to after-school programming and mentorship is not always equal, and that many girls from underprivileged communities may not have the same opportunities as their more affluent peers. That's why we are committed to closing the gap by providing our participants with free, accessible, and effective programming that meets their unique needs.

Our mentorship program is designed by young women of color for young women of color, and we prioritize diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our organization. By partnering with local and national STEM organizations, we help our participants explore potential careers in STEM fields and receive the resources they need to pursue their dreams.

We also prioritize mental wellness and self-esteem, recognizing that these factors are crucial for success in all areas of life. Our goal is to create a sisterhood of success, where girls can build lasting relationships with mentors and peers and feel supported as they pursue their goals.
We are proud to have partnered with some of the most respected institutions and organizations in the country, including the Smithsonian, the National Institute of Health, the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and Yale. These partnerships have allowed us to create impactful mentorship programming and provide our participants with life-changing opportunities.

We believe that mentorship has the power to change lives, and we are honored to be a part of our participants' journeys. With your support, we will continue to empower young girls of color and create a more equitable and inclusive world for all.
